Contact: support@manupright.com

Man UpRight helps you organize your life with planning tools, daily prompts, and a peer community (“Think Tank Connect”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your choices. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity.

1) Information we collect

You provide directly

  • Community content: posts, messages, comments, attachments in Think Tank Connect.

  • Support: inquiries and their metadata.

Collected automatically

  • Device/usage: IP address, device IDs, browser type, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps, crash logs.

From third parties

  • Payment processor (payment status, fraud signals).

  • Single sign-on (if enabled): basic profile and auth tokens.

  • Analytics & error reporting: usage metrics, performance events.

Sensitive information
Do not submit medical records or protected health information. If you choose to discuss health, beliefs, or other sensitive topics in free-text fields or community areas, you do so voluntarily.

2) How we use information

  • Provide the Service: account creation, sessions, dashboards, assessments, community features.

  • Improve & personalize: content ordering, prompts, recommendations, A/B tests.

  • Security & integrity: authentication, fraud/abuse prevention, troubleshooting, backups.

  • Communications: transactional emails (receipts, alerts), product updates, and—if you opt in—marketing.

  • Compliance: enforce Terms, meet legal obligations, maintain records.

Some features may use AI/avatars to generate or present content; relevant text you enter may be sent to vetted AI infrastructure to deliver these features.

3) Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland users)

  • Contract: to provide the Service you request.

  • Legitimate interests: security, analytics, product improvement, community moderation.

  • Consent: where required (e.g., marketing, non-essential cookies).

  • Legal obligation: tax, accounting, law enforcement requests.

4) How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share limited data with:

  • Service providers (“processors”) who work on our behalf (hosting, analytics, email/SMS, payments, AI infrastructure, customer support).

  • Community visibility: posts you make in Think Tank Connect are visible to other members per the feature design. Use judgment.

  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, enforce Terms, or protect rights, safety, and integrity.

  • Business transfers: if we merge, acquire, or sell assets, your data may transfer under this Policy.

If we use ad tech that qualifies as “selling” or “sharing” under California law, we will present a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control.

5) Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, local storage, and similar tech to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and secure the platform. Where required, we will display a cookie banner that allows you to manage non-essential cookies. We honor applicable opt-out signals where legally required.

6) Data retention

We keep information while your account is active. After closure or prolonged inactivity, we delete or de-identify data within a reasonable period (typically up to 24 months), except where we must keep it longer for legal, security, or backup reasons. Community posts may persist if required to preserve conversation context or for safety/compliance.

7) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data (encryption in transit, access controls, secure development practices). No system is 100% secure.
